The nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd have led many business leaders to reconsider their organizations' approach to diversity and inclusion.

Too often, D&I programs have been primarily educational seminars with little practical effect on even well-intentioned leaders' business practices.

Might this lack of impact be due to those programs' lack of personal, empathetic conversations between those of differing backgrounds?

In this one-hour discussion, three HR leaders will share their experiences as people of color, both in society at large and in the workplace, with a white HR professional seeking to understand.

They will share insight from their unique perspectives into:

*         Disparate impact,

*         Systemic racism,

*         The prospect of "color-blind workplaces,"

*         The challenges of creating a meritocratic environment,

*         Corporate pronouncements of solidarity with social movements and their employees of color, and

*         Where business leaders should focus their energy and attention to maximize continued progress.

After you register you will receive an
e-mail with a link to the session.
