The 2026 Texas SHRM LEADHRS program is an exclusive leadership development experience for Texas SHRM chapter Board Members and State Council leaders in the Southwest Central Region. The program strengthens participants’ leadership capabilities in their professional roles, their chapters, and in their service to Texas SHRM.

Across six modules, participants explore key leadership topics such as team development, strategic planning, culture building, situational leadership, and project planning. Each module includes:

  • 1.5-hour webinar *
  • Application assignment overview +
  • One-on-one Coaching Connect (scheduled individually)
  • 1.5-hour guided group discussion ◆
2024 SHRM Pinnacle Award Winner:

Texas SHRM received national recognition in the “Serving the Professional” category for the LEADHRS program and its statewide impact on developing HR leaders.

This program qualifies for 9 hours of SHRM/HRCI professional development credits (PDC). Participants must attend or view all webinar modules to graduate.

Estimated time commitment: 27–30 hours total across all six modules (Webinar, Application work, Coaching Connect, and Guided Group Discussion).
