Ultra I&C has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for execution of all HR programs and activities for the C2I Business Unit. The Director will report to the President of the C2I Business Unit and take strategic direction from the Chief Human Resources Officer.
This position will be based in Austin, TX.
Duties & Responsibilites:
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for managing an organization of 250+ employees in the UK and US.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work closely with senior leaders, managers, and HR leadership in areas of organizational strategy, talent management, compensation planning, performance management, recruitment, and employee engagement and retention.
*Act as primary liaison for Employee Relations to remedy employee issues, investigate and resolve workplace concerns and work with legal counsel when necessary.
*Responsible for HR strategy and budget including creation, presentation to executive management, and execution upon approval.
*Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements for existing and new legislation, enforce adherence, and advise management to ensure company compliance.
*Provide training and development required to support HR and the business strategy.
*Manage HR data and ensure availability for federal and state reports, executive management teams, and corporate reporting.
*Be proactive with the recruiting process and understand the competition for staffing in all areas and locations and work with HR leaders to create competitive and strategic recruiting techniques.
*Provide leadership to Human Resources staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
*7+ years of progressive experience in an HR leadership role.
*SHRM-SCP/PC and/or SPHR/PHR certification
*Ability to travel approximately 10% annually to domestic and international sites.
*Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Clearances are granted to US Citizens.
