The Sr. Compensation Analyst provides compensation consulting to multiple business units by collaborating directly with HR Business Partners and organizational leaders. This position designs, develops, implements and administers compensation policies and programs. The Sr. Compensation Analyst conducts job evaluations, and wage and salary analyses to determine internal equity, external competitiveness, and ensure legal compliance and adherence to the company's pay practices. This position participates in salary surveys.
This is a remote position and candidates can be based throughout the U.S.
Duties & Responsibilities:
What you’ll be responsible for:
-Designing, developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs.
-Consulting with and advising HR partners and management on optimal pay, grade and classification recommendations.
-Conducting data analytics and modeling, using large data sets.
-Participating in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
-Evaluating jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements.
-Formulating recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
-May perform other job duties as assigned. What you’ll need to have:
-Minimum of 6 years of compensation experience.
-Experience analyzing large data sets and creating compensation data models.
-Attention to detail is essential.
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) are also essential.
What would be nice for you to have:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business or Finance preferred, but not required.
-CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certificate preferred; completed coursework towards CCP is helpful.
-Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
-Good understanding of HRIS systems.
-Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
-Able to process, manipulate, and summarize reports
