Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (PPGT) provides healthcare and health education services in Austin, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Paris, Tyler, Plano, Waco, El Paso, Lubbock and surrounding communities.

We have an exciting new position at PPGT for a Human Resources Compensation and Compliance Specialist in Austin or Dallas, Texas!

The Human Resources (HR) Compensation and Compliance Specialist performs a wide variety of compensation, compliance, and administrative support to the HR department. This position is responsible for administering the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas’ (PPGT) pay programs and compliance activities. Ensures productivity expectations, customer service and compliance standards are maintained. Abides by the organization’s mission in performing job duties. Supports the organization's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
Some key responsibilities of the HR Compensation and Compliance Specialist include:
• Provides compensation analyst and compliance administrative support.
• Prepares and reviews job descriptions for positions in organization.
• Reviews personnel requisitions submitted by hiring managers, ensures the forms are complete/accurate, obtains necessary approvals.
• Prepares offer recommendations that are in compliance, equitable, and within organization policy.
• Provides administrative support in the completion of compensation and compliance program activities and documentation.
• Ensures all required background check activities and pre-employment processes are completed to confirm a new hire candidate’s start.
• Monitors license expirations for licensed staff and provides advance notice and reminders for upcoming license expirations.
• Reviews and submits credentialing and re-credentialing licensed staff applications including the necessary supporting documentation to our Primary Source Verification (PSV) vendor in compliance with our organization’s policies.

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience or Associate’s degree with 4 years of related experience. Related experience: human resources generalist or compensation analyst/specialist.
• Must have some experience in compensation principles, practices and analysis.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro required.
